Originally from Forster, NSW Justine is our principal Chiropractor and mother of two. A dedicated family woman and sports enthusiast, Justine takes special interest in treating children of all ages. Her work with children using methods such as Retained Neonatal Reflexes, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy sets her apart as a health champion for kids. She is also a certified Applied Kinesiologist, NET and TBM practitioner. Justine works out of all of our practices.

With over 12 years of experience, Sheila brings a wealth of knowledge and professional expertise to Back to Balance. Sheila incorporates musculoskeletal acupuncture into her treatments to further enhance patient outcomes with care and making her a popular and clever choice for sufferers of arthritis, chronic pain, sciatica and other conditions her methods are proven to assist with.

May joins Back to Balance bringing with her over 18 years of clinical chiropractic experience. As mother of four, she is passionate about helping families achieve optimal health and wellbeing. Her wide range of skills include combining traditional adjusting techniques with components of Applied Kinesiology, Sacro Occipital Technic (SOT), Musculoskeletal Acupuncture and Webster’s Technique for expectant mum’s.

Originally from Perth, Charles is a certified Neural Organisational Technique (NOT) practitioner working out of both our Casula and Woolooware clinics. A keen tennis player and cricketer, Charles and enjoys treating a range of musculoskeletal issues and loves treating children suffering from many types of conditions. His primary focus is allowing your body to achieve is maximum potential through healing at the root of the cause.

Cherie is an enthusiastic Chiropractor with a passion for treating children. She has previously been involved in the Science Academy Holiday Camp, enlightening young kids of Sydney with her extensive knowledge of the human body. Her unique ability to connect to patients of all ages with her bright personality and passionate attitude is her strength. Her aim is to help all of her varied patients reach their health lifestyle goals so they can live every day with pain free movement and the energy they need to accomplish everything their heart desires.

Simon has been a chiropractor and practice clinician for over 25 years working in and also owning various practices Australia wide. He is very proficient in all modalities and techniques associated with chiropractic and total body health. Simon primarily uses soft tissue techniques and manual adjusting techniques to get your body in the right alignment and symmetry. He also advises on other areas that may need attention such as, rehabilitative musculoskeletal work, exercise and nutrition so your spine and body have a better chance for healing post-treatment.

Sonya has been working in the health and wellness field for nearly 20 years. She first started in the industry as a Jin Shin Do acupressurist, massage therapist, Esthetician and then finally found her calling as a Chiropractor.

Sonya uses her past experiences combined with her Chiropractic training to individually assess and support each of her amazing patients from newborns to those in their golden years.

Sonya’s main focus is on restoring balance and vitality to the body. She uses many techniques including Diversified, Gonstead, Upper Cervical Specific, Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT), PAK (Applied Kinesiology), Extremities, Activator, Webster (Pregnancy) and Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET).

Joseph is an enthusiastic and dedicated practitioner who embodies a wealth of knowledge and passion stemming from his professional experience in both private practice and working closely with a number of local, state league and premier league sporting teams throughout his years of practice. Joseph is skilled in his manual therapy techniques, formulating and executing exercise programs, strapping/taping techniques and is qualified to perform dry needling if appropriate. He is confident in rehabilitating his clients, whether it be post-operatively, sporting injury-related, or just life’s everyday aches and pains. Joseph enjoys treating patients of all ages.

Leanne has developed a wealth of experience working as a remedial massage therapist for over 17 years. She has been heavily involved in training other therapists and the development of both the remedial massage and aromatherapy courses at TAFE. Now she is dedicated to working with people to gain optimal health through a variety of techniques including sports massage, remedial massage, thermal stone therapy and aromatherapy. She specialises in pregnancy massage.

Hayley brings with her 3 years experience as a massage therapist and an extensive background in fitness. Her previous work as a fitness instructor awards her an unparalleled understanding of the body, enabling her to supplement her sessions with valuable exercise advice for each of her patients. She has a keen interest remedial/deep tissue massage, sports massage and myofascial work.

Ash brings 5 years of experience from working within the fitness industry. Ash was initially a personal trainer and later transitioned into manual therapy. He is confident in providing sessions which incorporate manual therapy with holistic fitness advice. His extensive knowledge in anatomy enables him to provide specialised management and treatment for anything from sports-related injuries to chronic conditions. Outside of work, Ash has a keen interest in mixed martial arts and outdoor activities.

There is no one-size-fits-all nutritional solution, Diana individualises options to maximise health and restore healing to the body. She believes vitality and beauty come from within and good nutrition is the basis of everything.

Miroslav specialises in the treatment of digestive disorders, stress/anxiety, fatigue, hormonal imbalance, weight loss and general well being.

With over 25 years in the dance and fitness industry, Vanessa is fully certified in Body Arts & Science International Pilates mat work. She has had the opportunity to dance professionally in Australia, America and Europe and is very passionate about teaching Pilates, having seen firsthand the huge success enjoyed by many clients. Vanessa enjoys working with Pilates in women’s health and restoring mothers back to full strength after pregnancy and birth.

Zara is an enthusiastic and highly skilled speech and language pathologist with a passion for family-centred therapy. Her therapy sessions are engaging and interactive – clients achieve their goals while having fun! Zara has a key interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders, paediatric speech sound disorders, language, literacy, selective mutism, late talkers, developmental delays, pragmatics/social skills, apraxia of speech, Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) and stuttering. She is trained in Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapy. She understands that each child is individual and has varied strengths and takes this into account within her approach.

Rebecca is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with over 6 years experience. She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at the University of Sydney and has been working within private practice ever since. Rebecca is able to provide diagnostic assessment and intervention for a range of communication disorders for children aged 0-18 years. She loves to plan fun and engaging sessions and enjoys seeing the positive changes that therapy can make to the lives of children and their families.

Jacqueline is a qualified and AHPRA registered Chinese medicine practitioner. Originally from Germany, 10 years ago her love for the ocean & the outdoor lifestyle brought her to Australia. She feels strongly about addressing health issues by looking at underlying imbalances with a particular passion for women’s health, stress-related health issues, anxiety or sleep problems. With a love for holistic healing and food; a conversation about diet and lifestyle will always be part of a consultation with her. Knowing chronic pain and the relief that acupuncture can provide through her own experience, she brings a compassionate and knowledgeable attitude to her patients’ healing processes.
