Dr. Justine McDermott
Originally from Forster, NSW Justine is our principal Chiropractor and mother of two. A dedicated family woman and sports enthusiast, Justine takes special interest in treating children of all ages. Her work with children using methods such as Retained Neonatal Reflexes, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy sets her apart as a health champion for kids. She is also a certified Applied Kinesiologist, NET and TBM practitioner. Justine works out of all of our practices.
Dr. Sheila Macy
B.Sc (Chiro) M Chiro, Musculoskeletal Acupuncture
With over 12 years of experience, Sheila brings a wealth of knowledge and professional expertise to Back to Balance. Sheila incorporates musculoskeletal acupuncture into her treatments to further enhance patient outcomes with care and making her a popular and clever choice for sufferers of arthritis, chronic pain, sciatica and other conditions her methods are proven to assist with.
Dr. May Delfino
B.Sc (Chiro) M Chiro, Musculoskeletal Acupuncture, AK, Webster’s Technique
May joins Back to Balance bringing with her over 18 years of clinical chiropractic experience. As mother of four, she is passionate about helping families achieve optimal health and wellbeing. Her wide range of skills include combining traditional adjusting techniques with components of Applied Kinesiology, Sacro Occipital Technic (SOT), Musculoskeletal Acupuncture and Webster’s Technique for expectant mum’s.
Dr Aline Dahdah
Aline comes to us with 12 years of clinical experience. She is a certified Advanced Biostructural Correction and Endonasal Practitioner, which focuses on the permanent correction of posture. Aline also uses Bio-geometric Integration and Professional Kinesiology Practice, to assist her clients balance their emotional, chemical and physical stressors. Aline is inspired to show people what is possible to achieve in their body, health and wellbeing. She loves to stay active, exercising regularly and spending most of her free time out in nature.

Cherie is an enthusiastic Chiropractor with a passion for treating children. She has previously been involved in the Science Academy Holiday Camp, enlightening young kids of Sydney with her extensive knowledge of the human body. Her unique ability to connect to patients of all ages with her bright personality and passionate attitude is her strength. Her aim is to help all of her varied patients reach their health lifestyle goals so they can live every day with pain free movement and the energy they need to accomplish everything their heart desires.
Dr David Perdomo
David is excited to join the Back to Balance team in Gregory Hills as a chiropractor. David is always keen to meet new people and help everyone maintain an active and pain free life. As David played sports growing up, and being a regular gym goer, David has experienced many sporting injuries which has made him passionate about treating sports related injuries. David’s goal is to educate and encourage an active lifestyle while maintaining a pain free one. Techniques David uses are diversified, dry needling and rehab prescriptions.

Certified in Exercise Physiology and Chiropractic, Jay is a holistic family Chiropractor whose emphasis is on helping everyone reach their full potential. Jay utilises manual adjusting techniques along with Applied Kinesiology, NET, and SOT.
Nutrition, emotionality, and structure all play a role in her
treatments and she believes that an adjustment is more than just a structural change. Jay typically treats families, pregnancy, and the every day person trying to better themselves. Her goal is to constantly empower her clients to live the best they can through being regularly adjusted, taking up an active lifestyle, and be supported with nutrition.

Joseph is an enthusiastic and dedicated practitioner who embodies a wealth of knowledge and passion stemming from his professional experience in both private practice and working closely with a number of local, state league and premier league sporting teams throughout his years of practice. Joseph is skilled in his manual therapy techniques, formulating and executing exercise programs, strapping/taping techniques and is qualified to perform dry needling if appropriate. He is confident in rehabilitating his clients, whether it be post-operatively, sporting injury-related, or just life’s everyday aches and pains. Joseph enjoys treating patients of all ages.
Remedial Massage Therapist, Dip. Fitness
Hayley brings with her 3 years experience as a massage therapist and an extensive background in fitness. Her previous work as a fitness instructor awards her an unparalleled understanding of the body, enabling her to supplement her sessions with valuable exercise advice for each of her patients. She has a keen interest remedial/deep tissue massage, sports massage and myofascial work.

Ash brings 5 years of experience from working within the fitness industry. Ash was initially a personal trainer and later transitioned into manual therapy. He is confident in providing sessions which incorporate manual therapy with holistic fitness advice. His extensive knowledge in anatomy enables him to provide specialised management and treatment for anything from sports-related injuries to chronic conditions. Outside of work, Ash has a keen interest in mixed martial arts and outdoor activities.
Anthony is an enthusiastic Physiotherapist dedicated to bringing out the best in all his clients. With an expansive sporting background, Anthony is passionate in providing an exercise-based approach to rehabilitation, combining active recovery with manual therapies to achieve the best outcomes. With an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and rehabilitation principles, Anthony is confident working with a range of clients of all ages. Anthony believes you are more than just your injury and aims to work holistically with every client to achieve their recovery goals.
Gabriella is an enthusiastic and fun – loving health practitioner. She has a passion for treating musculoskeletal injuries, especially sporting injuries. Gabby has experience in working with premiere league sporting teams and enjoys treating both acute and chronic injuries. Gabriella is skilled in manual therapy and enjoys using exercise to assist with meeting patient’s goals. Outside of work, Gabriella has a keen interest in soccer and cooking.
Miss Kiah Trindall

In 2012, Kiah completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage, and within her 8 years of experience she has treated a variety of people ranging from elite athletes to pregnant women. Kiah is passionate about helping people achieve an overall mind, body, and spiritual awareness. Kiah’s skills and intuitive touch help relax tension held within areas of the body, while also helping the mind and soul deeply relax into the reset you need. Her bodywork style includes Relaxation, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Remedial, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports and Pregnancy Massage, aiming to create a balancing and holistic approach to remedial massage.
Nutritionist, Adv Dip Nut Med, BHSci (Nut Med)
Diana is a dedicated nutritionist who is passionate about using ‘Food as Medicine’. Nutritional medicine uses a very holistic approach, the aim is not only to treat the symptoms but search for the causative factors in order to prevent illness. There is no one-size-fits-all nutritional solution, Diana individualises options to maximise health and restore healing to the body. She believes vitality and beauty come from within and good nutrition is the basis of everything.
Miroslav is a qualified Naturopath that brings over 16 years of experience. With passion and a desire to serve from the heart, Miroslav knows what it takes to get results for his patients. He combines the scientific approach to functional testing with traditional methods of diagnosis such as Iridology. Miroslav specialises in the treatment of digestive disorders, stress/anxiety, fatigue, hormonal imbalance, weight loss and general well being.
Working out of our Woolooware and Casula clinics, Ashleigh is a certified practising speech pathologist with over 4 years experience. She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) with Sydney University and had been working in private practice ever since. Ashleigh has a passion for working with paediatric speech sound disorders, language and literacy delays, social skills/pragmatic disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She likes to plan fun and engaging sessions that are suited to the child’s personality and strengths.
Functional Health Coach
Kelly comes to Back to Balance as our Functional Health Coach.
Through ‘Habit Change’ and ‘Transformational Coaching’ methodologies, Kelly focuses on more than weight loss, diet and exercise. Lifestyle choices, environment, the mind-body stress response PLUS having your body in an ideal state to digest and assimilate nutrients all play an essential role in reaching optimal well-being.
Kelly’s focus is on deep diving into the root cause issue, educating clients through simple yet powerful strategies on how to build a strong digestive foundation “first” [so they flourish from the inside] and guiding clients on how to listen and be in tune with their own body’s wisdom and awareness [to ensure they are following eating and lifestyle habits aligned to their ‘unique’ body type].
Kelly is a Certified Health and Life Coach, having also completed studies in the foundation of Functional Nutrition.

A Cronulla native, Trish is a university qualified podiatrist with a passion for the mechanics of the lower limb.
Practising in all areas of podiatry through our Woolooware, Casula and Gregory Hills clinics, ranging from nail and skin care to foot and joint pain. Trish has a keen interest in the barefoot movement and helping patients restore their functioning to natural movement patterns. She believes in addressing the symptoms at the root of the cause and promotes a long-termsolution in favour of a “quick fix” treatment.
When not at work, you’ll find Trish rowing surf boats down at North Cronulla or running around the rugby fields with the local Sea Lice 7’s women. This lifestyle is what gave her a passion for movement and mechanics of the body.
