Introducing Speech and Language Pathology to all 3 of our clinics.
Now available at Casula, Woolooware and Wetherill Park – our two highly experienced Speech and Language pathologists provide diagnostic assessment and intervention for a range of communication disorders for children aged 0-18 years, as well as Adults at our Casula and Woolooware clinics.
During these fun and engaging sessions, our therapists enjoy seeing the positive changes speech pathology can make the lives of children and their families.
Our therapists provide family-centred therapy and work closely with other health professionals to ensure each client receives the highest level of care. Our therapists are fully certified and have many years experience.
The team at Back to Balance consists of physiotherapists, massage therapists, chiropractors and other health professionals. The team is extremely warm and friendly and will always welcome you with a smile!
Assessment for speech, language, fluency, pragmatic language/social skills, pre-literacy skills, literacy skills and more. Diagnostic assessment comes with a full report.
Speech therapy is provided for speech sound disorders (articulation and phonology), expressive and receptive language skills, pre-literacy skills (phonological awareness), literacy skills (reading, writing, spelling), auditory processing skills, early language development and play skills, fluency disoders (stuttering), voice, accent modificiation, auditory processing, feeding and much more!
Our therapists work closely with GP’s, paediatricians, occupational therapists and psychologists to ensure their clients receive the best treatment possible. We believe that a team-based approach is most beneficial to our clients.
Speech and Language Pathologist, BA Psych, BSPath (Hons), MSPA
Working out of our Casula and Woolooware clinics, Zara is an enthusiastic and highly skilled speech and language pathologist with a passion for family-centred therapy. Her therapy sessions are engaging and interactive – clients achieve their goals while having fun! Zara has a key interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders, paediatric speech sound disorders, language, literacy, selective mutism, late talkers, developmental delays, pragmatics/social skills, apraxia of speech, Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) and stuttering. She is trained in Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapy. She understands that each child is individual and has varied strengths and takes this into account within her approach.
Speech and Language Pathologist
Working out of our Wetherill Park clinics, Rebecca is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with over 6 years experience. She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at the University of Sydney and has been working within private practice ever since. Rebecca is able to provide diagnostic assessment and intervention for a range of communication disorders for children aged 0-18 years. She loves to plan fun and engaging sessions and enjoys seeing the positive changes that therapy can make to the lives of children and their families.
