Pilates is a system of mental and physical conditioning that requires the use of the whole body. Each movement is thoughtful, precise and controlled allowing you to target areas and achieve health, fitness and mobility goals.
Pilates is particularly good for dealing with injury and can be adapted to suit your individual needs. Pilates strengthens the small, stabilising muscles that hold your joints together. Physiotherapists often recommend pilates as one facet of a recovery program due to its ability to enable its users to manage their injuries while improving strength and aiding in a number of other health benefits such as weight loss, muscle tone and flexibility.
Pure Pilates is open to everyone. The class will go through a mixture of beginner, intermediate and advanced exercise options allowing all participants to get an effective and all over body workout.
With a focus on the breath and flow, focus is on fundamental exercises that relieve stress and soothe aches and pains. Increase your postural and muscular awareness, both inside the studio and the minute you step out of it.

Combination of mat and equipment workouts that is challenging and intense. Sessions consist of controlled, flowing movements working your muscles through a full range of motion. Strengthen & lengthen the muscles & align skeletal structures within the body. Equipment work varies in skill level, from beginner to rehabilitative & advanced levels. On the Equipment you work with the resistance of the springs of different strengths to either increase the demand of the exercise or to provide more support for the body & spine. This makes the equipment work suitable for almost everyone.
Private (1:1) and Semi Private (max 4:1) sessions available.
This class incorporates Pilates Equipment, mat & props into a non stop 60 minute workout. This workout is ideal for boosting stamina, toning, sculpting and increasing bone and muscle strength.
These exercises will tone & firm up your gluts, hips, thighs & hamstrings to give you a fitter, firmer butt. Expect to leave with legs shaking and come back for more when you see the booty-lifting results! Max 6-8 people
Note: These sessions require that you have an initial consultation with our physiotherapist Joseph before commencing your Clinical Pilates program.
Highly effective for injury rehabilitation with a focus on correcting muscle imbalances. These sessions are a transition from physiotherapy. Exercises are both on and off Pilates apparatus and will be modified to suit your individual needs. Movements range from basic through to very advanced according to your progress. You will learn where your body is in space and to identify the best movement sequence. All these factors contribute to a positive movement experience. which greatly facilitates a recovery. When you create a positive movement experience, you are able to take a step forward without pain. The more you move without pain, the more confidence you gain. And the more confidence you gain, the more likely you are to try another movement or exercise. Maximum 4 people per session.
